Well Christmas has come and went, and we all had fun! I worked a lot around christmas, which wasn't very fun, but that's what you get when you work in retail! I am looking forward to a few days off this week.
The girls got spoiled (as always) for Christmas this year recieving amoung many other things, lots of clothes, a guitar for Teja and a Littlest Pet Shop adoption centre for Emma. They both recieved a wii from their Memere and Pepere, and that has proved to be hours of entertainment!
Eric and I got engaged on Christmas day too. It was wonderful and he completely surprised me with a ring that I LOVE.
I am officially finished my first trimester of pregnancy, and really happy to be feeling a LOT better. The sickies are mostly gone, just a bout with them once in a while.. and my tummy is strating to grow. I need some more track pants, because nothing else is fitting!
My next Doctors appointment is in about 3 weeks, and I am excited to go. I'm bringing Eric this time so he can hear the baby's heart beat. Our big ultrasound should be not too long after that (within a few weeks) so we're pretty close to the mid-point, and it feels really good!
I've started composing a list of things we need to buy between now and June, and it doesn't really look all that daunting..
So far it includes a Travel system (Car seat and stroller - which I think I've got picked out already), and we need bath time soaps and lotions, and I'd like to start buying diapers since Eric nixxed my cloth diapering idea. (He says he doesn't want to wash poo in the same machine he washed his clothes in lol) I need a new diaper bag, and I already know what i want for that too. But before I buy it, I want to make sure I can't bring the other one back to life. It just needs a good wash. I need some nursing bras too, and some crib sheets. Other then that it's just a lot of washing to get things ready. Once we find out the gender I can pick up a few outfits.. but I am not going to go crazy because I am quite sure the baby will recieve some as gifts aswell, and I already have quite a few in a tote ready to be washed, so we don't need to go crazy. I'd like to get some pink or blue recieving blankets too once we know what this baby will be.
anyway, if you're lucky I will start posting pictures of my expanding tummy at some point. maybe in a few weeks I will start! lol
Hope your Christmas was great too, and all th best in 2010!

An Update!

Hi.
Hello, I am still alive, but barely. haha
everyone in our place has been sick, except me, and I have been very busy taking care of them, however, thankfully, everyone is on the mend, because I just got slapped with a massive wave of exhaustion. I yawn continually, and can't seem to get off my ass for anything. I have to keep my stomache not empty, but not too full or i feel like I'm going to puke. ugh!
I can't wait to be out of the first trimester so I HOPEFULLY!! Start to feel better.
It's true what they say about every pregnancy being different, so far this is right in between the other two. For Teja, I puked multiple times daily for almost the whole pregnancy, and for Emma, I think I got sick once. This is right in between the girls.
Not much is going on, I turn 28 next week, and Eric and I are planning to go out for dinner, if my stomache approves of those plans, and then we're going to go get all of the christmas shopping done so that I don't have to worry about it anymore. At least for the girls. They're the most important anyway. And I'm dragging him to Babies-r-Us so we can look at travel systems and see if theres anything that catches our eye.

Some news
There is going to be a new little heir or heiress to our throne joining us!
Eric and I are completely excited, as are the girls.
We're just about 5 and a half weeks, and have just had an ultrasound and everything looks good. I need a spot to keep people updated, so I guess this is it!
I don't really feel any different yet. I'm bloated and Eric will tell you I'm irritable. I've also discovered that if you mix taco seasoning in sour cream and use it as a dip for tostitos, it's heaven on earth. (Eric doesn't agree) hahaha
We have a lot to do before bambino comes, so thankfully we have months and months to prepare!
This winter we are getting a new kitchen and then the main floor has been completely re-done! It looks awesome too, I can't wait to have it done.
Anyway, that's the news, we're expecting Butterball sometime in late June, and hoping that because I have c-sections that that means we can plan it so Emma doesn't have to share her birthday!

It's been a while..
Well it's been MONTHS since I updated this thing.
I'm sorry, but we've had a busy summer, and fall hasn't been all that slow either!
The girls have both started school now, and both love it. Eric and I are still working, and I have finished up some paperwork that's been hanging over my head for a long time. That feels good.Theres also other exciting stuff happening, but if I told you now, I would have nothing to write about for months again.
Everything's different yet still the same.
Everyone is very happy, and healthy and growing up so wonderful.
I promise to update this a little more often.

We bought a car!
Yay!
We are all SO excited, and I can't wait to have this baby in our possesion. lol
We got a good deal, and even the kid's are excited to get it so we can go for a drive. I'm excited to be able to put the car seats in something and *shock* leave them there! LOL
This isn't our car, but its a car like ours.. Roughly the same colour, but our windows are tinted.
I'll take pics of our car when we get it in a few days.. I'll have to, as Eric says its the first car he's had in HIS name, that's ALL his. lol

So what's new?
Not much around here, well actually a lot, but it all just seems normal.
I have a new job, which i alright. I like that I am bringnig in a little bit of income, and do not have to worry about childcare at all. That's sweet.
Eric's still waiting to hear back from his new job he interviewed for, they said it wouldn't be before next week so keep your fingers crossed.. Mine are a bit cramped right now actually. lol
The girls are excellent, and growing like crazy. We measured them on the wall and they are both about an inch taller then last time we did it.
The bathroom is finally DONE! The closet doors are in and it looks wonderful. Our bedroom is painted, and now we're just waiting for the framing for the closets to go in and then it will be well on its way to completion. Closets, paint, floor, trim and voila!
The girls were very excited to get outside to pay lately, and Mommy was excited to dry some clothes on the line Monday.
We may be getting a puppy, who we are naming Lola. If the people don't back out who are selling her to us. Cross your fingers for that too, because we are all very excited about it.
Not much else really is going on.. we're keeping our eyes out for a good deal on a van, and hoping we can snatch one up soon.. very soon if Eric gets this new job.
Other then that, not much is new. Just thought I'd write a bit of a tidbit because it's been ages. We're just all busy around here being us. It's fun, and great, and wonderful.

Bring on the updates!
Well, Here I go again!
Happy Family day everyone! yay! I'm still not used to this new holiday, so it's a big "whatever" for me.. And doesn't actually change much in our routine, since Eric is still at work today, and I am home with the girls and just doing normal stuffs.
The house is going great - the bathroom just needs closet doors and it is DONE! The bedroom needs one more coat of plaster and then it can be painted.. then the closets will be built! I am very excited to have closets in the bedrooms, because it will save a lot of storage problems.. and BIG closets at that! yaaaaay!
Teja turned 6 last week, and it was once again a very full weekend of celebration.. Friday night she had a sleepover with her bff Katie, Saturday Grandpa was here and we all went for dinner and then Monday we had other family over for cake and ice cream! She got loads of gifts and loves everything. She got her DS and is in love! And recieved money grom her great-grandparents so she picked out a couple more games for her DS.
Emma is almost all signed up for school, and very excited about it.
we're looking forward to taxes in hopes of paying some more of Eric's bills off. That will be nice! After his are done, it's only my student loan and then we are debt free! yay! We need to buy a car, so I can't wait for that day!
I have to get new glasses.. I've worn glasses since grade 7, but barely ever do, and I'm starting to get some headaches and such, so I really need to get a pair and wear them regularily.. We're doing that in the next little while too. Just hate the cost.
Teja's getting ready for her dance recital in May, and she's excited.. There song is "Old Time Rock'n'Roll" I'm so excited because 1. I love that song, and 2. It's going to be absolutely adorable.
Both girls are going to sign up for baseball (Eric had no influence in this decision at all *rolls her eyes*) in the summer, they have to be 4, and Emma will be 4 in June, so we're hoping they'll let her sign up. They're looking forward to playing, and to Saturday afternoons with Eric watching baseball games. haha "Red Sox are stinky" never gets old in his world.
Valentines day was nice! Eric surprised me with a necklace that is gooooorgeous! I love it! We had an alright night too, nothing fancy, but it was good. The girls loved the little chocolate bouquets we bought for them, especially Teja, who is just born to be a bonafide girly girl.. Emma just wanted the chocolate. haha
Anyway, I'll try to put up a couple of pictures from Teja's birthday soon, I just never seem to find the time to get on this computer much anymore, which is a-ok with me really, but sucks for anyone who wants to read anything about my boring life. lol

Man, I suck.
I'm sorry i haven't updated this thing in forever!!
Well, my excuse is pure busyness.
Christmas went well.. Teja and Emma got spoiled rotten, as per usual. lol Eric's Momma Jocelyn, and her bf Steve came down to stay with us for a few days, and that was nice! It was really nice not having to travel for the season, and still have family stuff going on. The girls loved their little dog Brutus, and Brutus loved my front window. lol
New years came and went without much fanfare.. I'm glad, Eric and I were perfectly happy to stay in, watch a movie, and do absolutely nothng all night. We went to bed not too far away from midnight actually. haha
Life is good.. Eric's new job is going well, and I'm looking for something part time that works with our schedule.
Teja is reading like such a pro. and Emma is seriously counting days until she too can go to school.. though she thinks she should be able to skip kindy and just go to grade 1 with Teja. haha
I'm trying to talk Eric into a puppy, but, well, we'll see. haha
Other then that, not much is going on.. Eric's Ma taught me how to make exploding boxes over christmas and now Kirstin and I are making a couple.. if they turn out, we're going to make a bunch to sell at craft shows next holiday season. I'm pretty excited about it. They are fun to make!
I'm not doing much knitting lately, a couple of hats, but thats pretty much it.. I've got some great yarn that is going to be a sweater for Emma I think, but I've yet to find a pattern I simply adore.
I need to get my sorry butt back to the gym, but, well.. I think everyone knows how that goes. haha
God what else? Not much really.. Another holiday the kid's didn't see their dad, and that struck me Christmas night and I was a bit glum about it. But I haven't heard anything from my lawyer or the courts saying he's filed anything, and I can't afford to keep trying until he shows he's more interested then before, so theres not much I can do. I don't even have a working phone number anymore for the girls to call him, and haven't since August. I don't know, I'm a bit out of energy for the situation at the moment, as I've tried, and nothings doing. If we could just talk about things, and agree we could just file with the courts ourselves, and not have any of this crap. But we can't.
oh, Teja's birthday is coming up, and she's going to be 6! Can you even believe it? I am NOT the mother of a 6 year old.. Six just seems so OLD! My how time flies!!! She wasted no time after christmas compiling a list for her birthday.. She'd like Skoot-a-loo (that my little pony thing on a skooter), and the movies Wall-e, and The Bee Movie. lol So, we'll see.. I had much grander ideas, but ya better get what the girl asks for!
She's so unbelievably smart though, like really.. She asked me the other day, If Santa and his elves make the toys, why all her presents has barcodes on them? hahaha ummmm.. someone needs to remember she's 5!!!! lol Aww well.. She's presh.
A few pics from Christmas coming up.. hopefully I'll update more often!
Teja's Christmas Concert (she's in the gold dress with the black - waving)
Eric and I - seriously defiant in the looking-at-the-camera skills
